POLYPERF® Safe: positive pressure becomes possible (08/04/2005) The POLYPERF® Safe system is currently the only Huber needle that is 100 % safe. Once locked, the piston protects both the point and the shaft of the needle. Healthcare staff therefore do not: - run the risk of pricking themselves (no rebound effect when the needle is withdrawn) - run the risk of coming into percutaneous contact with the shaft of the needle POLYPERF® Safe also makes it possible to withdraw the needle using one hand, leaving the second hand free to exert positive pressure, in accordance with the recommendations of the ANAES.
